Thank you for your comments. I made the top then quilted it as I was attaching it to the batting and backing.

I really like the diamond quilting on this, also. Did you quilt-as-you-go, or wait until it was done? I haven't actually quilted anything yet, still on the piecing stage of my first quilt, so I'm curious how you did this, because it looks relatively easy to follow...thank you for sharing!

Thank you. They are not very even as my sewing wasn't too great but it's not as obvious as i thought it would be.
