The skirt is a simple tube ruffle skirt which i got from a pattern I have used over and over. The cardi flowers and such came from the pattern too (sorry I can't recall) but I made the actual cardi myself, with out a pattern. I also made the peter pan collar with out a pattern.Difficulty:

What are you most proud of?
I pieced the cardi myself - and the Peter Pan collar. The pattern suggested taking a plain sweatshirt and cutting it up and finishing it, but it's next to impossible to find a plain sweatshirt in a size 2T! So I just made it. I have to say, I love a Peter Pan collar on a little girl, so the whole thing just makes me smile!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I used an old blouse that I cut up as my guide making the sweater pattern. Other then that.. just go for it.
