It is worth buying the skip-stitch blade. So quick and if you really enjoy making this project you will use it again and again to make baby blankets for all the babies in your life.

Difficulty:

Category: Crocheting

Type of item: Functional

For: Children

Style: Cute, Casual

Materials

31" x 31" cut piece of fleece, ~ 150 yds. Lion Brand Vanna's Choice Soild in Aqua, G or 4.0mm crochet hook, rotary cutter and a skip-stitch blade, and a cutting mat.

What was your inspiration?

My son is in preschool and one morning I noticed that he was the only baby without his very own blanket to carry with him to school. So I decided I had to make him a blanket. I had signed up for the Crafty Crochet course and knew what blanket I had to make for him. I loves it!

Love these flanette blankets. Not sure if you still call them that. Love the colours in yours and my granddaughters would love the teal colour. Can't wait to do more special things for them other than their Owl and The Pussycat. Now have another grandson too so have to get creative for the boys.

I love this one for kids. I also like the crochet edge. Gives me motivation to try one similar to it.
