Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: I created the pregnant woman's head on the long train journey, then the body a few days on my return home using gum paste. Made the bag and necklace from modelling chocolate, covered the cake with lemon flavour fondant and decorated with green coloured modelling chocolate for the shrubs and I used Italian American meringue icing to pipe the mini blossoms all around the cake, added gum paste rocks in places around the edge of the cake.
