What was your inspiration?
Threads magazine.....I have a ton of them and I thought it was time I used them.... I started with the oldest first and that was in 1990. There was a jacket there that had princes seam pockets so I decided to make some in my jacket... This jacket is only my pattern with old fabric I had on hand. I wanted to get a perfect fit for my next jacket as it's going to be a lot more work. It will be quilted and pieced.
What are you most proud of?
I'm so proud that I'm finally using my threads magazines!!! :>)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have fun and play around.... use fabric that doesn't cost a lot before you make your "real jacket" I got mine at a thrift store for a few dollars.
