What are you most proud of? That I tried! And I was successful!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Keep watching Angela. This is what got me to try free motion quilting on my Longarm! Thank you Angela!! If you only knew what you have given me in order to try yourpatterns. Confidence!

Do you stay consistent by watching the foot or just many hours of practice?

The thing that worked for me was finding the right speed. First I tried regulated mode and it was too restricted. When I went to Manuel mode, Omgoodness, it was so much easier. I started out at 28% and then I kept pressing the speed up button. I think my machine & I get along around 48% for now. Like Angela says "whatever works for you" gave me the confidence to try many different things just so I know what works for me. One trick is....i use one hand on the handle bar. This keeps me from the death grip on bot handled bars and keeps me relaxed. I can see better as to where I'm,going with only using one hand on the handle. I look ahead somewhat as I'm finishing the last echo around the paisley so I know where to place the next paisley. Sometimes it's very obvious where it will go however, getting close to the edges can be a little more challenging. You can always just stop and then make a plan to where to go next.Thank you for asking! Try it, you'll love it!
