What was your inspiration?
My sisters and I got together one day to create mini quilt hangings....we had embellishments out the kazoo; and we spent all day working these small hangings. We had a blast!
What are you most proud of?
Working side by side with my sisters (I'm the middle sister); Virgi is the youngest and most artistic/creative one and Mary is the oldest sister -- I am most proud of the fact that we can get together often and if we're not playing scrabble, we're working on crafts.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
These were fun to make; there's no pattern, no rules -- just a 4x6 background that's your canvas -- it was hard for me getting started....and it was slow going because i think i have creativity blocks....but these were a lot of fun to see them come together.
