I have captured a beautiful piece of genuine Turquoise in a frame of swirling silver wire, reminiscent of the foaming sea waves. The swirls of wire, interspersed with silver beads, skim the edge of the stone, holding it securely in place. A sterling silver Gecko has stopped to take a drink at the edge of the rock pool! The necklace is made with genuine turquoise chips, sterling silver Bali beads, handmade wire cones and a handmade hook clasp. The necklace is 21 1/4" long. The pendant is 2 1/4" tall including the wrapped bail and 1" wide. I have heavily oxidised this piece and hand polished it to a brilliant shine, to really highlight the detail.
