Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Clothing

For: Women

Style: Classic, Traditional

Materials

Wool of the Andes Worsted Brass Heather

What was your inspiration?

Celtic Cables course

What are you most proud of?

I just love this sweater. The course was easy to follow, and I enjoyed the seamless construction. The sweater fits very well, although the bands are a little "full." I may need to unknit them and redo them with fewer stitches. Since I usually don't wear a cardigan fully buttoned up, it may not actually matter. The second photo is of the sweater being blocked, and before I found just the right buttons.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This is a great project to become familiar with seamless knitting as well as manipulation of cables.

Pretty! This is helping to motivate me to finish mine. I'm using WoTA Tweed too, in Marine Heather. :-)

Thanks! I'll take another picture after it dries from the blocking and I've put on the buttons.

Thank you! I really enjoyed your class. This was fun to do because the cable changes kept the knitting interesting on those very long rows.
