What are you most proud of? That the kids couldn't believe I had immortalized them on a quilt. When I showed it to my co worker, he commissioned me to make one for his son and daughter-in-law's 1st anniversary from one of their wedding photos.

I bought a video class from interweave.com called Making Faces by Marie Elkins. Since then I have watched many different videos on doing the same thing in a few different ways. You have to find the way that works best for you, but this video was a great place to start. Hope this helps. http://www.interweavestore.com/making-faces?

I can't remember off hand, but I use PhotoShop Elements 11.

So wonderful! Cant wait to see more!! I've tried this method myself, but I'm realizing that you can't work with just any photo - seems like there needs to be high contrast in the photo. Do you have any suggestions about what works best in the photo selection?

You really can use any photo, you just need to adjust it in a digital photo program. I use PhotoShop Elements 11.
