What advice would you give someone starting this project? I needle tatted this necklace. The entire project, including blocking, took about 15 hours. Notice that the motifs on either end have one less ring/chain than the motifs in the middle. The joins along the top edge are tricky. I would suggest making the yoke first and then doing the bottom row of medallions. That might help with figuring out where the top row joins go. It would also keep from ending the work on that row in the middle where it is easier to spot a knot. When you are working the row of medallions, there are a lot of places where your thread can get caught. As I worked, I secured the finished section in a ziplock baggie to prevent snags and tangles.
