I used the topper to trace the arch across the top of an 18' x 13' rectangle of background and backing, stabilizer and two half circles for the back wedge that holds the hangin on the arch. With the help of atupperware heart shape cookie cutter I traced around to make two hearts with the steam-a-seam and three sets of front and back hearts for a free form heart pillow to be hand appliqued. ...

Materials
quilt quality cotton fabrics, steam-a-seam, wire stand with arched topper. Two heart buttons and two clover yo-yomakers (45mm and 60mm) for flower center and bud. I cross hatched quilted and then assembled the flower parts and vase. Tacked the arch back in place and then bound all for the finish. It hangs in the shop for sale at sales@granmastreasures.com in Wray, CO
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
With out actualy sitting in a class with me for a one on one instructions, some working knowledge of quilting and applique is helpful.
