What was your inspiration?
So I thought I would try hand painting on buttercream to give the effect of "stained glass". I have seen it done on fondant, but as I love working with buttercream, I thought I would see if I it would work the same on buttercream.
It worked fine except I don't like this cake. But I don't like it due to my choice of colors and lay-out. If I had to do it over again, I would choose more muted colors (peaches, light greens...) and I would have the flowers more symetrical. Oh well, live and learn! :) As this cake was just for fun it didn't matter...tasted great though! :)
