What materials did you use? Polwarth Raw Fleece from New Zealand. I washed individual locks and combed with Mini combs. Handspun a very fine single worsted and plied to make a durable 3 ply sock yarn.

What are you most proud of? Mostly, what I learned from this project was patience and a deep appreciation for the joy and delight of slowing down and enjoying every step in the creative process. The journey and not the end result.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Enjoy every moment this is pure joy.

Beautiful! How cool to be able to say you did every single step yourself! (well, maybe except for raising the animal) :) Gorgeous, wonderful socks! ("socks" just doesn't seem a worthy word for such a creation!)

Thaks so much Jill :-) I have always wanted sheep in the yard but I just don't think that is going to happen! I just love every step of the fiber processing, it is my zen.
