What materials did you use? 5 different polka dot fabrics * ribbon (for skirt ruffles) * turquoise fabric (for petticoat can-can ruffle) * black jersey fabric (for circle skirt base & petticoat) * hooks & eyes (for back closure) * thread (I used various colors to contrast w/the different fabrics)

What are you most proud of? Being able to use up these pieces of fabric I had was fun, it's a great way to use up all those scraps!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I used Mary's circle pattern simply b/c that's where my inspiration sprang from. You could use this idea in many other forms... the off-centered eye-candy could be applied to an A-line or even something like a 3-paneled skirt. Just put your imagination to work & let it go from there!
