What materials did you use? cotton knit

What are you most proud of? The bindings. When I tried it on, I thought: lots a dots! But it would look fine under a shrug or sweater, to tone down the dottiness.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I used the Vogue pattern for wovens, this is a knit. I cut it large and sized it down: After machine basting and trying it on, I ended up serging in another 5/8. So, the sides fit really nice, but I should have taken in the shoulder as well. Linda's technique for binding was easy, but I was glad to be able to go back to the lesson as I proceeded--I always have questions and replaying the lessons answered them all. I wanted to use her technique for the hem, but it is quite curved, so I ended up basting 1/4 inch, folding up, and topstitching (using the handy joiner/edging foot I bought to "stitch" in the ditch for the bindings.
