What materials did you use? Aida cloth, DMC Embroidery Thread

What are you most proud of? The fact that this used a variety of different stitches, and I managed them all. Not necessarily well, but I managed them! :)

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Work quickly when using dark fabric. 9 years tends to fade the color. :)

Where can I get the pattern?

I'm sorry, I don't know. I actually had an unused second kit last year, but I sold it to Michelle (above comments). I do see the kit come across Ebay every so often, but that is the only place I've seen it available since they stopped producing it. I'm sorry I can't help more!

I live in Canada and also think this is a beautiful project. I would love to be able find this pattern as well. Any suggestions?

The designer's name is Lynn Bywaters. This was put out by Leisure Arts, and the name of the pattern is Polar Santa. There is a Christmas Stocking kit with part of this design on it up for sale right now on Ebay. Also occasionally I see the full kit come up for sale on either Ebay or Etsy. Unfortunately, those are the only places I have seen it for sale, as it's out of print. My only other thought would be at a library maybe? Or for sale on one of the stitchers' forums? Sorry I can't be of more help, and good luck!

Any chance I could get a copy of the pattern? I have been looking for this pattern for a few years now as I want to do it for my daughter. You did a great job on yours. Valerie

The pattern that I have isn't usable any more, unfortunately. I started this design when I was newer to cross stitch, and was rather careless with how I handled it. In fact, it was in such bad shape that I had to purchase another kit in order to finish the design. I sold that kit not all that long ago. Sorry I can't help you out there, but I have seen the kit come up for sale on eBay from time to time. Thanks for the compliment!
