Points of Light Baby Blanket

Make It

This project was made from an independent Craftsy designer's pattern:
Points of Light Baby Blanket »

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Children

Style: Classic, Traditional, Cute, Whimsical, Casual

Materials

Worsted weight yarn (250 yds/191g per skein) / 1 skein each light (A), light-medium (B), medium (C), medium-dark (D), dark (E) / US 9 (5.5mm) 29-inch circular (to accommodate the number of stitches), or size to obtain gauge / US H/8 (5.0mm)crochet hook / Tapestry needle

What was your inspiration?

I wanted to create a blanket that was pretty easy to knit while looking spectacular.

What are you most proud of?

Blending 5 shades of a single color family gives this design a very special look.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

The instructions are both written & charted so you can choose which is easiest for you. The color work is an easy slip stitch pattern so only one color is used per row.

The contrasting white sets the aqua off perfectly, well named.
