Just a query. Is this the Poems sock yarn or their worsted 100% wool yarn? I have so much sock yarn in my stash that if this is sock yarn, I may well try to use it up doing this. It is beautiful!

It is neither! It is the Poems wool/silk blend. I actually bought it on Craftsy as one of their deals.

I love it!! I love the way the lace pattern works with the yarn too! Did you plan ahead or decide as you go... I hope that's not a silly question ;) I'm a new knitter and am always amazed at what beautiful things people create and how they do it!
