What was your inspiration?

I am Cathlolic and I was taught to make the traditional Rosary which can seem very time consuming. You can make these and still have them blessed by a Priest if done correctly.. People seem to like to carry these around alot better then the more traditional style.

What are you most proud of?

Remembering how to make a full size Rosary, and have people actually buy them and use them. Knowing that what I have made has been blessed by a Priest makes me feel proud in the fact that I made them correctly. And they look beautiful.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Be patient and keep working at it ...

I use what ever bead I find that I like, however, I never use plastic... I worry about the Cross afterwards, as that's just how I am. But, I must say that Michael's has been stocking more and more different types and styles of Crosses lately, making it easier and easier for me to match up with my beads. As far as the "Wounded Warrior Project" haven't heard about it, maybe you could point me in the right direction.

I am Catholic too. My brother suggested making rosaries, but I knew it would be a lengthy process. I love these! Thank you! So tell me the prayer pattern. Is the large bead for the Our Father and the others are the Hail Mary?

Yes, the bigger is "Our Father" and the smaller ones are the "Hail Mary's". Just make sure you have them blessed first by your local Priest.

Yes, but make sure you have them blessed by your Priest at your church first.
