What was your inspiration?
We had a bunch of pet rats, and a very tall wire cage. They loved these far more than plastic igloos from the pet shop, or cardboard boxes. If it's cold, they can snuggle inside the pockets (or as one rat did, hide all your food blocks inside the pockets). If it's warmer, they can lay on top.
The batch of hammocks in the photo was donated to a rodent rescue.
What are you most proud of?
These are extremely durable - important when you have a pet that can chew through concrete. ;)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't worry about it being perfect - your pet certainly won't care. :)
