What materials did you use? I have used hand dyed fabric for the background (Procion MX and fabric paint both dyed in plastic bags) and the tree is made of a little piece of commercial fabric. Painted with fabric paint and machine embroidered.

This is absolutely lovely. I especially love the water color....and all your stitching. Oh MY! Thanks for sharing!

PS I am curious to know how you will finish it off...a hard thing for me to decide at times.

Thank you. I have just published the framed fabric painting. I hope you like it this way. Normally I don't use glass when framing fabric pictures but this piece will be in my daughters kitchen so it might need a little protection.

So lifelike, your painting is lovely. The quilting makes it more realistic. I love it.
