Looks great! Are those stitched-down pleats in the belly area? How do you go about measuring to account for the fullness you want? Did you make and use a facing? Stylish as well as comfortable! Congrats!

I just eyeballed the spacing with the pleats. I did stitch them down about 2inches. My hip measurement times 4 is where I start. If I feel it's too full I take some of the fabric out. I don't stitch down until I am sure about fullness. i used bias tape as a facing.

So, hip measurement X4, adjust as desired; stitch down when it's the waist measurement? Then insert the zipper?
