What materials did you use? Five 5" charm squares from Summersville Spring, two 5" cream squares for lining and left over batting trims from my mug rug projects.

What are you most proud of? Very quick and simple project. I used left over batting scraps to stuff it and this worked perfectly.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? When stitching the two sides together right around all four sides leaving a 2" gap for turning on one side. Make sure you overstitch well at the beginning and the end to stop the patchwork coming undone as you turn it. Tip the corners very slightly before turning through to reduce bulk. I always use a chopstick for pushing corners out - it has a blunt end and is the perfect tool!.

I used left over batting scraps and stuffed the pincushion very firmly. It works a treat.
