Materials

Plastic canvas purse form, magnetic snap, gold chain for strap, thread and needle to attach chain, 1/4 yard fabric for lining and matching thread, red, white, royal, lt. blue, gold, and red/white/blue variegated yarns.

What was your inspiration?

After making one purse I decided to make this one to auction off at our family reunion in September. I have really enjoyed using the first purse I made instead of carrying my heavy one.

What are you most proud of?

I designed it myself.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Select colors to match a favorite outfit and wait for your compliments.
