Fabric from JoAnn's, random pieces of batting left over from other quilt projects.
What was your inspiration?
My sister-in-law is always looking for new placemats. With a family of 6, she has difficulty finding inexpensive ones that she can buy.
What are you most proud of?
This project was made entirely out of scrap fabric I had left over from another project, but the color scheme and final product are exactly what I would have picked out for my sister-in-law.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have fun, don't be afraid to just try something. These were the first placemats I've ever made.
