What materials did you use? Cotton fabric (striped for the placemat top) and fusible fleece.

What are you most proud of? Adapting a table runner design into a placemat.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you cloose to use batting instead of fusible fleece you need to quilt the placemat. I recommend either using SITD on just the diagonal seams or just placing two or three tack stitches along the center seam.

Thank you. I wish I could take better photos. These don't do the fabric justice.

Beautiful Where did you get the fabric? I love it and would like to get some.

Thank you. I got it at my local quilt shop and it was a sale, discontinued fabric. I don't even know the manufacturer. Sorry.

Do you have a pattern?

No, I took a class. It's a 60 degree angle.
