This is about 13" x 18". It has quilt batting in the middle then backed. The banding in the front wraps around to the back. It is quilted although that doesn't show up well in the photo.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
My g-children, Olivia & Ben, have "The Elf on the Shelf" watching over them. I told them I'd make a placemat for the cookie plate for Santa.
They named their elf "Elfie" and I have him sitting on top of the GingerBread house.
What are you most proud of?
The poem I wrote turned out well.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make it to last. It will become part of the Holiday tradition. Do a lot of quilting and sign & date the back.
