What was your inspiration?
I wanted costumes that wouldn't fall apart...I also didn't want it all hangin out- bought costumes seem to always show too much skin.
What are you most proud of?
My corset...it's got a lot of technical imperfections. But I'm just glad I finished it without tearing my hair out.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just try it. If you aren't a skilled seamstress, start out using old sheets so you don't have to worry about investing $ in a project. You'll get more comfortable, but always keep pushing your boundaries. Check out my blog for lots of easy & money saving projects! Www.SewsNBows.com
