This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Modern Piping »

Difficulty:

Category: Food & Cooking

Type of item: Food

For: Other

Materials

Royal icing on shortbread biscuits

What was your inspiration?

I need to practice my piping, but didn't want to keep going on paper. I made a batch of biscuits (slightly overcooked?!?!) and just started to free hand pipe on them. I just wanted to get more of a feeling for using the piping bag.

What are you most proud of?

My control is getting better. I really quite like my alphabet and number biscuits.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Patience and practice. I had dinner, a glass of wine and refreshed my creativity, I think they look far more completed now.

Good job! They are so cute! The letters and numbers came out great...hard to maintain the circular pattern and slant! :)
