What was your inspiration?
I made this cake for a web competition for PIP Holland, we had to create a cake with the PIP design for their "birthday" october 11.... the cake should have been inspider to their design, I thought that the Colette Peters vintage 3d peony was "perfect" to match with their style....
What are you most proud of?
I didn't have gum paste available so I made the petals with sugarpaste, not so easy..... ah! I won the competition!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take a few days to prepare the peonies, so you won't be in a hurry!
