What are you most proud of? The color choices and how well they work with the pattern.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use the quick method of making the half square triangles so it takes less time to sew all of them. You start with two squares. Draw a diagonal across one on the wrong side. Place them wrong sides together and sew a 1/4 away from the line, on either side of the line. Then cut them apart on the line. Press the seams to one side. You have 2 half square triangles.

Thanks. I love making quilts that are new and different.

This must be your big project! I like your design - using softer colors and a chevron-sashing gives it nice movement, and the centers of squares keeps it from being frenetic with too many pinwheels. So, nicely planned!! (I love how you've chosen colors that compliment your hair :-D )

I actually made this one a while back and didn't want to post it while I thought about whether I should try to sell some of my designs. I used fabric that was in the church stash and the church ladies tied it. Sometimes we get some great coordinating fabric donated. I hate to give it away!
