I finished it

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It is difficult to get layer cakes in Toronto, so I used fat quarters. I made the binding out of the scraps from the fat quarters.

Did you quilt on the machine? Looks like 1/4 inch distances between each quilt seem. Looks amazing. Did the quilting process take long?

The distance between the lines is 1/2" and it took about 5 hours to complete. I used masking tape to mark out the first few lines and then just the width of my foot.
