What was your inspiration?
I started drawing shapes and this is the final design I came up with.
What are you most proud of?
I like the balance of texture on this piece.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take your time in cutting this piece out. Sometimes you have to remove the saw and go in at a different direction in order to maintain the sharpness of this design. In order to get the curvature on the tips, I used masking tape over the edge of the doming block so as the avoid indenting the back side of the silver.
