Cotton fabrics - 2 charm packs purchased from Craftsy, and two other fabrics purchased from my local quilt shop, The Quilt Patch in Stallings, NC.
What was your inspiration?
I wanted to practice a pinwheel block, and just wanted to do something fun and with no pressure. I'm very pleased with this quilt top.
What are you most proud of?
I'm most proud of the color/fabric combination, creating a modern quilt from a more traditional design.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you're looking for a fun project that's quick, start with pre-cut charms of any size, make your half square triangles using your favorite method, create the pinwheels, then simply choose a complimentary fabric or two and cut blocks the same size as your pinwheel blocks and piece away!
