What was your inspiration?
Wanted to make something fun and easy. I never realized just how fast this whole thing went together. I was concentrating on the folds of the pinwheels, when the next thing I knew, I was finished with the whole quilt.
This quilt was really fun & fast to put together, and I just love the brown fabric so much that I am glad I had enough to really showcase it in the borders. And I love how the pinwheels come up off the quilt itself. They are not sewen down like most quilt tops.
What are you most proud of?
That I actually finished a whole quilt in such little time. And how well all the colors go together. That is something I have a hard time with, everything going together.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Once I started this quilt, I couldn't stop. I was working on the folds in the pinwheels, and the next thing I knew, I had the whole thing DONE!
