Instructions

You can stuff it with anything that you have on hand. Old comforters, pillow, clothes, material, etc. I've used 6 pillows that I picked up at my local big-box store for $3.50 each.

What was your inspiration?

I love the poufs that are out there. I really needed something for my living space so I set out on a mission to create on. This is my take on the popular pouf.

Yes. Many stitches, probably comparable to a blanket. It is a great project for stitching during your favorite shows.

Wow this is terrific! How firm is it - can you put your feet up on it or sit on it? I suppose it depends on how you stuff it; but with 6 pillows what happens?

Yes, it all depends on what you stuff it with. I had designed it with an ottoman in mind so it is definately big enough for that purpose but the pillows I choose are proving to be a bit too airy and squishy. Still cute but it looses the height hubby wants. Next time I will use down pillows or a rolled comforter or two to give it more "umph".
