Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Quick-Strip Paper Piecing »

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Charity

Style: Funky, Cute, Casual, Mod, Whimsical

What was your inspiration?

Wanted to make something bright that really showed off the points in this lesson. I am usually a neutral palatte quilter - this is definitely out of my confort zone of color!

What are you most proud of?

It's my first prairie point border and although not perfect, I learned a lot and think they blended well with the overall concept of the design.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just go with something new and refreshing. This lesson was easy to do, instructions were easy to follow.

Wow! Your Pinwheel Polka quilt is beautiful!! I really love how all your fabrics worked together, especially that wonderful stripe in the blocks and the binding. And your prairie points add a fantastic touch to the whole quilt!

Thanks Peggy! I've really enjoyed your class; you make it easy, fun and interesting. You inspired me to try things out of my "quilt comfort zone"! Angie
