What was your inspiration?

I'm taking Peggy Martin's Quick Strip Paper Piecing, and this is the first pattern. I"m also making a queen-sized sampler quilt and this will be included as one of the blocks in that larger quilt.

What are you most proud of?

The points match!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Watch Peggy and do what she does. She's a great instructor.

Looking at some this and some of your other work you have a great eye for color and putting fabrics together, don't follow others in your blocks lead others, your good

I can't wait to see the finished project! These colors are so beautiful together! Asoon as I finish three other project I have going and use up the stash I have at home, purples are my next color I want to use.

Thanks for noticing and commenting! I'm almost done with the blocks for a queen sampler using a variety of fabrics in this color family, so decided to do the "Pinwheel Polka" block to add to the sampler. It's been fun!
