What was your inspiration?
Wanted to try a new technique - paper piecing. When I showed my mother one square she suggested a quilt. Since the colors weren't right for my house I decided to make a quilt for somebody who has just had a baby.
What are you most proud of?
I did it! Now I want to do one in different colors for me........ Yes, I do have the fabrics ready to go.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
When making multiple copies of the template, draw dotted lines to show the 1/4 inch seam (I wasn't great at picturing it) and then make the copies.
