What was your inspiration?

Quick and easy Christmas present.

What are you most proud of?

Had never made a toy before, and never heard of the loop stitch. Learnt a lot doing this. Confirmed that I still like crochet more than sewing!!!!!

Love the final product, will do more for presents.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Read the instructions carefully. I looked for loop stitch instructions on the internet, which confused me, because these loops are done using the thumb and pulling the loop forward. Instuctions on page 5 could be clearer, but practice and you will get it right.

I chose to stuff the head after round 20, but then continue (1sc,sc next 2st together). It was a neater look than sewing the ends together.

Definetly crochet ends in as you are going, it saves having to turn the pieces inside out to sew in ends.

I thought Pinky looked better without the bell.

I sewed the mouth one stitch at a time as it wont get pulled off by a child.

From your description, you put a WHOLE lot of love into Pinky. Are those hearts at the corners of her mouth? <3 Love the 'wry' smile.
