What materials did you use? Yarn in double knit and aran weight, 4mm knitting needles, some toy filling and two little beads for eyes

What are you most proud of? I love the front claws, and the eyes! But I really love the ridge around the base of the shell which is so easy, all the body is knitted in one piece, and the ridge uses a technique for making pleats combined with a bit of easy peasy increasing and decreasing to make a wobbly mouth. I am going to include a photo tutorial in the final pattern so it is easy to follow.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? The pattern is still in draft, this is my own design and I am typing it up at the moment, but it should be in my Craftsy pattern store within the next few weeks

I want to make it into a simple beanie winter hat with two eyes on top. My granddaughter loves crazy hats.
