Pinkie Pie

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
The Perfect Fit Seamless Crazy Lace Cardigan »

Instructions

This was so much fun. Finally, I can make a sweater fit, and design it to look the way I want it to look.

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Clothing

For: Women

Style: Cute

Materials

KnitPicks:

What was your inspiration?

I used Knit Picks Wool of the Andes in Worsted Weight, size 8 needle. I checked gage for once in my life. And it fits. This was a wonderful, empowering project. I have another one that I began before this one, which I will now finish. I was excited to work with the magenta colorway so I finished this on ASAP.

Thank you Myra!

What are you most proud of?

Everything! The button holes and the buttons which I think match the character of the lace. Very Girly.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Ceck gage.

I have to admit to being sloppy on gauge too and this class really brings the gauge importance to the fore. Great sweater.

I love the way your sweater came out. The color is great and the choice of lace patterns looks fantastic.

Very fun and do-able. You can start without the lace. She begins with a bolero which is done without lace. It can be kept short or lengthened to whatever length that would look good on you. I need something longer.
