What was your inspiration?

Everytime I make a stack and whack I say it's the last one, then I see fabric that screams out for a stack and whack pattern. I wanted to make a quilt for a dear friend who loves pink, and this fabric haunted me until I went back and bought it!

What are you most proud of?

That it only took me 8 months to complete it! It shouldn't take that long but I procrastinated once I started because I've used the pattern too many times now and I'm a quilter who craves "new" patterns and challenges.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Cut all the pices and chain stitch, makes the blocks practically finish themselves.

Can you post a picture of the fabric you used? I have made a couple of these and if you check my account, there are a couple of pictures. I am always fascinated with the original fabric. This is the most beautiful one I've seen.

This is absolutely beautiful! I've never tried "Stack 'n' Whack", but with results like that I'm wondering why! I must get a book on it and try it out.
