What materials did you use? Dyed cotton fabric. Yarns,ribbon,rat tail and threads. Beads.

What are you most proud of? Giving myself the time to play and getting the project finished and on the wall.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? It seems strange but get your framing materials first. i had to cut my final piece down too much to fit the frame size in the end.

I love the vertical lines in your background fabric and the horizontal lines of your stitching. This makes it so interesting!

Wow! That black/white ribbon adds a real punch! That is fabulous fabric, too! Ditto the info about choosing frame size first -- cannot emphasize that too much (if you're working on your second piece, you will have learned this for sure from your first... LOL)

This is so nice and sparkly! Did you pleat this fabric or is that the design in the fabric? Also, what kind of thread did you use the the bobble type stitch on the top? I really like the effect of it.
