What materials did you use? Batik, cording, Rick rack and metallic threads

What are you most proud of? The way it all came together. I can't wait to apply this technique to a handbag. That will be my next project.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Relax it's easy! Carol made it oh so simple. I can't wait to do the portrait project. I plan on making several projects to hang in a grouping in my family room.

This piece is so lovely. The maroon and blue lines really make the right side have lots of texture and the lack of the dart line on the left make my eyes move around the piece nicely. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks. I was pleased. I have started two more wall quilts and a pocketbook. I live on a boat in the Boston area in the summer and will do all the hand stitching over the summer and then finish them up when I return home to Florida in the fall.
