double pointed needles are only used for a couple rows on the thumb, all the rest is knitted FLAT !!Knitting flat is just SO much easier and faster to me, So I designed those to knit most of it flat, with a nearly-invisible seam towards the side at the end.

1 hank of Malabrigo merino in pink, bought in Yahaira's former yarn store "pure knits" :-) That pink color is just beautiful.
What was your inspiration?
This yarn is so soft, and perfect for hand accessories and it won't pill as much as on a garment
What are you most proud of?
The cactus outlines, but also the general balance of the whole design.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Even if you are a novice knitter, you can make those. :-)
