Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Outdoorsy, Whimsical

Materials

100% Cotton, 80/20 batting, Coats & Clark embroidery thread for top stitching

What was your inspiration?

Wendy Butler Burns class

What are you most proud of?

I think the borders definitely added a lot of interest to this project because I didn't much like it before adding the borders.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't use the glue method. It's messy, time consuming and produces ragged edges. I personally found it very frustrating and switched over to the buttonhole stitch quickly.

Beautifully done...love your fabric choices , especially the cornflower, and the border is beautiful. Congratulations, and thank you for sharing your work.
