What materials did you use? Wool tweed (UK), Silk Charmeuse (Italy), Silk Organza (China), Cotton Flannette (UK), Fake Fur (?)

What are you most proud of? This second coat is alot more proffessionally made than my first one. Solving the problem of making the coat warm without adding bulk to the seams. Finishing it - it took 10 full days to make.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Cut nice wide seam allowances if you are working with a loose tweed like this and trim them later - it frays everywhere. This loosly woven tweed was alot easier to press and ease in than the wool suiting I used for the first coat.

Love it. Great inspiration to stay with my first coat.

I really like your coat. The flannelette was a good idea.
