Is this your project? Can you share instructions or a pattern with the Craftsy community?

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Other

Style: Whimsical, Cute, Funky, Mod, Romantic

Materials

Fabric, Foam sheets, acrylic paint, hot glue, yarn, tulle, ribbon, glass beads, large faux diamond.

What was your inspiration?

I saw this scrap of fabric and the pink yarn then let the doll come together on her own.

What are you most proud of?

Giving varied depth to a round surface is difficult and I feel I pulled it off with her. Her face seems to portray the depth pof a sculpted face.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I used make-up tecniques to paint her face and give it realism. I used contouring. Using brown and white tones to enphasize facial features. This is especially noticable on the bridge of her nose, the two brown lines.
